Coming out at the same time as the Avatar movie, James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game is developed by Ubisoft, the same folks behind another upcoming game movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. In Avatar, you’ll alternate between playing both the native Na’vi and the invading human forces of the Resources Development Administration in different missions.

INTERSTELLAR WAR: The Na’vi use guerilla tactics to take down enemy mecha, while humans unleash the brute force of their helicopter gunships and firepower against powerful Pandoran beasties.
THE THIRD DIMENSION: The game uses the same tech from the film to create stereoscopic 3D graphics, so get those 3D glasses ready!
 

CRITTERS AND ROBOTS: Human get to pilot the powerful AMP suit mechs, while the Na’vi hunt by riding on flying Leonopteryx creatures. 

THE TALE BEGINS: The game is a prequel to the movie, explaining the discovery of unobtainium and humanity’s first encounter with the Na’vi.
