10 WITH BEN (AND THE GANG!)

K-Zone: Did you guys watch the cartoon before the movie came out?

Ryan Kelley: I came from a large family and I have a bunch of little siblings and they are all die-hard fans of show before I was even considered for it, so you know, I actually saw handful of episodes.
Galadriel Stineman: I knew little about the show but not much before being casted, [so] Nathan and I both had the most catching up to do. We’ve actually seen every episode of the series by the time yet to start shooting so we became big fans.
Nathan Keyes: Yeah, Galadriel kind of said it for me, but Galadriel and I are kind of looped [in] on Ben 10 but we got glued in real fast and we watched every episode and we had a great time doing it. We had Ben 10 parties and we ended up actually having it on set all the time.

KZ: So what are your characters up against in Alien Swarm?

RK: We can’t give too much on the film; otherwise we’ll get in a lot of trouble from Cartoon Network but um…
NK: Well…like the title of this film…there’s a swarm, there’s a bizarre worldwide threat, and it’s something that we have to come together, use our instinct, not only to stop this swarm, but save the world.

KZ: So for each of your characters, what kick butt scenes should we look out for in the movie? Basically, the whole movie is about Ben, but…

NK: In the battle sequences, Kevin [definitely] gets to use a lot of his powers a lot. [Sometimes it’s] comical, [sometimes it turns to be] really useful.
GS: There’s a scene where we were in a warehouse, and it was really cool because I think that Gwen [does] a lot of fighting there which is the best she’s ever done.
RK: For Ben, something that’s really exciting about this film is driving, so you see me behind the wheels of a car, or behind the motorcycle. Well…Kevin drives a car and I’m on a motorcycle so that’s something you don’t really see in the series.
