Unleash the Animal!
WWE Superstar Batista was recently in Manila for a quick stop—and we were able to snag this exclusive interview! Make sure to catch the rest of the interview in the June 2009 issue of K-Zone.

KZ: Since you just turned 40 last January 18, how much longer do you see yourself wrestling?
B: I mean, I started late but I’ve accomplished a lot in the short time that I’ve been wrestling. I’m not sensitive about my age at all. [I plan to wrestle for] at least another year. Like you said, I’m no Ric Flair. I don’t plan to wrestle [as] long [as he has].

KZ: We know you have a lunchbox collection—what would be the rarest piece?
B: My rarest lunchbox is a 1962 “Dudley Do-right”. You can find them on different sites here and there but usually the rarest ones are auctioned off.

KZ: When did you get your first lunchbox?
B: My first one was about 2002. I bought it online.

KZ: You’re a big fan of Manny Pacquiao. Since when have you been following his career?
B: A few years now. I try not to miss any of his bigger fights. Even in the States, he’s very popular.

KZ: The WWE Hall of Fame recently inducted a new class. Who among them were you looking forward to seeing get inducted?
B: Stone Cold Steve Austin definitely. He was someone who I loved watching perform and it’s still hard for me not to see him wrestle, you know? He gave so much to this business so I always looked forward to his matches.
