SORCERER MAGIC
In The Sorcerer's Apprentice, head magic man Balthazar Blake describes sorcerers as humans who could use the full power of their mind to control the natural world. In our article in the July issue, we talked about some magic stuff from the movie like the Merlin Circle and the Grimholds—now it's time to take a look at the other spells!

Plasma Bolt
The main defensive spell of sorcerers. They use their hands to call on plasma energy, which they throw at their foes. The effects look the ouchies, too—whoever gets hit by one usually ends up flying through the air to smash into a nearby bookshelf (or bathroom stall).

The Hungarian Mirror Trap
An old school magic spell that Balthazar likes to use. The spell turns any nearby mirror into a portal, and whoever is thrown in ends up in a topsy-turvy world where everything is backwards. The only way to escape back into the real world is to find your reflection and jump into it. There's a catch, though: whatever's smashed in the real world is also smashed in the mirror world, so your opponent can go on a mirror-breaking spree to keep you trapped.

The Parasite Spell
Morganeans (read: bad sorcerers) use this to suck the power of other sorcerers. They even use it against fellow Morganeans. Nothing says "bad guy" like stabbing your compadres in the back, eh?

Fusion
This spell fuses the souls of two sorcerers. Balthazar has only seen it done once: during an epic battle against evil sorceress Morgana Le Fay, his friend Victoria sacrificed herself by fusing her soul with Morgana's so that Balthazar could lock them both inside a Grimhold. *Sniff* Now that's what we call hardcore heroism. Hope it won't go to waste; we hear evil sorcerer Maxim Horvath is out to free Morgana from her magical prison.
Which camp would you join—Camp Rock or Camp Star?
