Are You Starstruck?
Did you catch Disney's Starstruck movie last weekend? Well, good for you: We've got an exclusive chat with the stars of Starstruck: Sterling Knight and Danielle Campbell!

K-Zone: So, tell us about your character Christopher Wild.
Sterling Knight: He lives this extravagant and ridiculous lifestyle, but he really is a good person [who] just lost sight of what [being normal] is.
KZ: What was your favorite scene to shoot?
SK: I truly enjoyed sinking that horrendously ugly purple pacer to the bottom of the mud pit. It was a struggle filming at the top of a mountain in 100 degree weather, but I think the scene came out really funny.
KZ: How does it feel to be in your very first leading role in a movie?
SK: It's great. I enjoyed it a lot. And it was definitely an eye-opening experience and it gave me a lot more respect for other people that have found themselves in that situation.
KZ: What's your favorite song from the soundtrack?
SK: I really like "I Gotta Believe". That's a really catchy song.
KZ: Has your role in Starstruck made you consider a career in music?
SK: No. I think there are too many people that are far more talented than me.
KZ: How would you react if someone came up to you and was just completely starstruck?
SK: I had that happen [to me] before and you kind of have to facilitate things and make it a positive experience for them.

K-Zone: So, who do you think would make you starstruck?
Danielle Campbell: Taylor Lautner or Justin Bieber—they are so cute!
KZ: Did you get along well with Sterling?
DC: We got along great. He's a lot of fun and quite the jokester. And, he's NOT a morning person, which I am.
KZ: What were your fave scenes to shoot?
DC: I loved filming the mud and pond scenes. It was fun getting dirty and playing around in the mud and water.
KZ: Has working on this movie changed your point of view on anything?
DC: it's reinforced the fact that you can't help who you fall for and you need to be true to yourself.
KZ: If you and Sterling's roles were reversed and you were the Hollywood pop star, would you see yourself falling for a small-town young man?
DC: Yes, I could see myself falling for a small-town young man. It would depend, though, on whoever my heart falls for.
