Did you know that the movie was based on a book from the ’50s? (just take a look at that retro cover.) The basic story is the same—but everything else is really different! They changed the town, the look, and even the entire cast, coming up with a brand-new main character, Flint Lockwood!


To promote the movie, Sony Pictures cooked up the world’s largest meatball…and even got a Guinness World Record for it! Check out the size of that thing—we’d actually need two sittings
to eat it!

To get the crazy look of all that food weather, the filmmakers had to actually:
> Fill a bathtub full of Jell-O and bounce action figures off of it
> Get bucketloads of cheeseburgers and drop them to the floor, recording and studying every step
   That doesn’t sound like work. That sounds like yummy scrumptious fun!
