DEMOLISHED THE COMPETITION
Most nominees won without breaking a sweat, racking up a huge lead over their competitors! But the really huge leads went to Taylor Swift (Fave Female Pop Star), SpongeBob (Fave ’Toon Guy), Bumblebee (Fave Sidekick), and the PSP (Fave Gadget), who beat 2nd-placers Demi Lovato, Aang,Schnitzel, and the iPhone by a mile. Make that ten miles.

CLOSE FIGHT
Not all winners were sure bets, though! One epically close fight happened in the Music Awards: Jonas Brothers and the Black-Eyed Peas slugged it out for the Fave Group/Band, with the JoBros beating the BEP with just 9 votes!

THE POWER OF TEXTING
If we went by web votes alone, the winners for Fave T.V. Actor and Fave T.V. Actress would have been very different! The Jonas Brothers and the Sprouse Twins were tied for 1st place as Fave T.V. Actors, while Selena Gomez was the clear winner for the actress plum. But thanks to the power of SMS votes, both Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu surged ahead and were crowned this year’s KZ T.V. power couple!

HIYA SHIA!
When Shia LaBeouf was first nominated in the K-Zone Awards waaaaay back in long-ago 2007 (remember that?), he placed 4th, just a few votes above poor Tobey Maguire. He was beaten soundly by HSM 2’s Zac Efron. “Shia who?” we can imagine you all asking. Fast-forward two years later; he’s now YOUR fave movie actor! Will there be more awards to come for Shia?

POOR STAR TREK
Even if it was one of the better-reviewed films of the year and got your nod during our nomination period, poor Star Trek only got 5 votes—that’s F-I-V-E votes after one-and-a-half months of voting. It’s got the rather sucky honor of being this year’s least-voted nominee.
