    Who will be NBA Champions this year? Let's break it down to six teams shall we?

   Boston Celtics - Drafted 21's back in four years, the Floor General has improved dramatically since then. He has been at his best so far last year breaking records and creating heroic moments. Expect Rondo to bring the Celts to a 53+ wins record in the regular season this year to give them a good position in the playoffs.

    Of course, let's not forget about the Big 3: Pierce, KG and Ray Allen. Paul Pierce will be a force to reckon with as he is more hungrier than ever to gain lost glory and so does KG. There will be no problem for the Irish as long as they stay healthy and if Ray Allen can bring his consistency and come out of his playoff nutshell.

    Chicago Bulls - Underdogs? Be that as it may, the Chicago Bulls are gonna make their season this year one to remember. Relatively young, this team would show that they too are gonna be a team to watch out for if the Utah experiment will work. Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose' youth power would give the Bulls an added boost while Boozer, Kyle Korver and Ronnie Brewer would play some sweet jazz music for added flavor. T-Mac joining the club? Why not!

    Oklahoma City Thunder - Did we expect the biggest turnaround last year to come from them? Did we expect Kevin Durant to average 30 points a game in 82 games at 21 years of age? Did we expect their arena to be "college-esque," complete with the ecstatic cacophony-slash-melody? Did we think they'd surprise the Lakers in the first round? If our answers are yes to all, then OKC might be a good bet.

    With Kevin Durant at the helm and getting some serious backup from Russel Westbrook, expect the Thunder to run and gun like its Phoenix Suns basketball. Jeff Green, Thabo Sefolosha, Nenad Krstic, James Harden and basically the rest of the team all contributed for a 50-win turnaround. And they won't stop there. KD35 could nab the MVP award this year, Russel Westbrook is just evolving, they have a deep bench and let's not forget:

    This is the youngest team in the NBA. Ah... youth power...

    Orlando Magic - Considered as still the East's juggernaut, Orlando is entering the 2011 season better (a slick arena, greater additions and a better mindset) but still the same. Dwight Howard is not there yet, but I'm effin' sure that he'll be an MVP candidate for this year. Jameer will still bring his A-game once he touches the ball and Redick will be blossoming his way into a potential Most Improved Player award. Quentin Richardson and Chris Duhon are good upgrades but it will all come down to the consistency of VC and 'Shard; especially in the playoffs and Van Gundy's proper use of key reserves like Bass and Anderson.

    Los Angeles Lakers - Some 13th pick who once scored 81 leads the team and his teammates ain't pushovers either. He has a friend with four rings on his fingers that serves as mentor to the players, he owns a pet grizzly from Spanish that eats players alive, and he is looked upon by his former nemeses as friend and savior, all in the guidance of the Zen Master. The Lake Show are still running the West as far as Kobe's concerned, and his passion to play the game drives him to be the best player the NBA has ever had. Let's not forget that Matt Barnes and Steve Blake can be fukin good players themselves. And finally, another championship would equal them to Jordan's Bulls.

    This is still the team to beat and with the arrival of the Three Kings, their fan base just quadrupled.

    Miami Heat - So they got LeBron, Wade and Bosh to be on the same team. That's a pretty good move, I thought that was smart.

    Who are we kidding!? Who would have expected that the three best free agents of this class would actually join forces to taste a championship!? Now they have made a great move, but the next thing to do is get some decent players to satisfy the needs of their Supreme Trinity. After that, the rest could be history with a little team chemistry.

    But don't be too reliant on this team, you know what happened to Dallas. They were a team built for a championship until the Spurs took those dreams away. And let's not forget Gary Payton, KB24, Shaq and Karl Malone in one team as well. Now that's an upset. Hear are gonna get their hands from from the Lakers or the Magic, and not the other way around.

    @karl: My opinion is that it's not about height and potential, remember Spud Webb? But it's the support. The government doesn't support our athletes well and that sort of affects their performances. Remember that Team Pilipinas were fighting for the Philippines and PGMA said that there will be 1 mil for each gold medal taken home. As far as I'm concerned, they're not after the money but for the passion. They're in love with the game and they do it as Filipinos.

And Tracy McGrady is now in Detroit Pistons!

Wish they could make it to playoffs with T-Mac, and pass the 2nd round. It's a dream come true for T-Mac.:)

    Actually, it wasn't a dream come true. He wanted to join the Bulls. Playoffs? Unless they find a way to outhustle the Bucks or the Bulls in the season, it'll be another disappointment season. Jerebko, Rip, Prince and T-Mac all gotta step up. But then again, you saw what happened to OKC. :P

    !@#$, easy predictions this year for the season awards.

    NBA Most Valuable Player - Kevin Durant. Kobe's 32 and KD35 is just turning 22. It's that simple.

    NBA Defensive Player of the Year - Dwight Howard. He'll just keep on racking this award until Orlando gives him a solid backup. First 3-peat on D. Do the math.

    NBA Rookie of the Year - John Wall. Next MJ? Hardly. He plays like D-Rose and unless he limits his turnovers, it's Blake Griffin or DeMarcus Cousins on this baby.

    NBA Coach of the Year - Tom Thibodeau. The Jazz invasion makes the Bulls' head coach a clear winner. Of course, this will rely on the chemistry of D-Rose and Carlos Boozer. Sorry Erik Spoelstra.

    NBA Sixth Man of the Year - J.J. Redick. Anyone with a brain cell for the NBA knows that good things will come to those who wait. This kid is blossoming and is really burying them 3's and them FT's. Unless VC becomes better, this award's going back to either the Jet or Crawford.

    NBA Most Improved Player - Javale McGee. No explanation needed.

    All-NBA Team:                                           All-NBA 2nd Team

G - Deron Williams                                        G - Dwyane Wade
G - Kobe Bryant                                            G - Rajon Rondo
F - Kevin Durant                                            F - LeBron James
F - Amar'e Stoudemire                                  F - Dirk Nowitzki
C - Dwight Howard                                       C - Andrew Bogut

    All-NBA 3rd Team                                      NBA All-Defensive Team

G - Chris Paul                                                -> Dwight Howard
G - Steve Nash/Derrick Rose                         -> Josh Smith
F - Carlos Boozer                                          -> Rajon Rondo
F - Danny Granger                                         -> LeBron James
C - Javale McGee                                           -> Chris Paul

    NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team               NBA All-Rookie Team

-> Chris Paul                                           -> Evan Turner
-> David Lee                                           -> DeMarcus Cousins
-> Stephon Curry                                    -> John Wall
-> Jason Kidd                                          -> Blake Griffin
-> Carlos Boozer                                     -> Derrick Favors

Blake Griffin? Isn't he a rookie last season?

And it's Either one of the three(RIP, Prince, and T-mac) will sit on the bench. Or maybe they'll trade RIP or Prince if T-Mac will be healthy this season.

    The NBA states that a rookie is a rookie unless he plays at least one NBA game in the regular season.
