WHAT IS K-ZONE?
K-Zone is the magazine where kids rule! Flexible, versatile and diverse, K-Zone provides 9 to 12-year-olds with everything they need in a continually changing, interactive environment. K-Zone’s regular sections have created loyalty amongst its readers. Every issue is packed with comics, quizzes, puzzles, jokes, wacky facts, TV shows, movies, music, cartoons, gaming and competitions. The K-Zone experience is always one of a kind fun, vibrant and unforgettable. K-Zone has its own website, www.kzone.com.ph. It features the top five stories every month, a showdown where kids can vote for their favorite cartoon and anime characters, contest, freebies and a bulletin board which lets members interact with one another to talk about their shared interests. By the second quarter of 2004, K-Zone launched a mobile service where K-Zoners can download logos, picture messages and wallpapers to their cellphones.
WHO'S A K-ZONER?
A K-Zoner is someone who loves reading K-Zone! He/she is 9-12 years old, enjoys playing sports and games (video games/ board games/trading cards), likes to compete with his friends and loves the feeling of victory and he excels at trading card games. He/she also likes knowing what is hot ahead of his/her friends because they turn to him/her for information. He/she goes malling with friends or family and spends most of his leisure time watching TV followed by reading magazines.
But most importantly, a K-Zoner loves K-Zone because it informs him/her about anything and everything he’s/she's interested in. It keeps him/her up to date with the latest and hottest news, movies, gossip, toys and fads. And because he’s/she's in a stage where he/she needs to conform to the liking of his/her peers and look cool, he/she needs to know what’s in and what’s not.
