Last week was April Fools’ — and you know what that means: PRANKS GALORE ALL OVER THE INTERNET! Since it was vacation time (and a holy day), K-Zone didn’t join in on the fun, but we did chuckle over some of the tricks these websites pulled. Tomorrow, let’s all make a stand and turn off the lights!

Yup, Earth Hour hits tomorrow from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. If you’ve been living in the dark (hehe), Earth Hour is a worldwide shoutout where people all over the globe pledge to turn off their lights for one hour.

Last year, the Philippines was one of the top participants on Earth Hour, with 647 (!!!) towns and cities switching off the lights. But more than trying to beat a record, let’s turn off our lights to be one with Mother Earth, and send the message that it’s time do something about our environment!

What to do in the dark for one hour? Here are three fun things you can do:
1. Tell ghost stories! Lights-off time is scare-their-pants-off time!
2. Make wax toys. Can you make Iron Man out of the dribbling globs of wax from your candle?
3. Break out the board games! Nothing eats up Earth Hour faster than cutthroat candlelight Monopoly!

Meet our very own spoof cartoon: Benteng, a kid superhero whose alien watch, the Omnitres, can turn him into three different aliens! Together with his cousin Gweng-gweng and his grandpa Lolo Mak, they defend the streets of Manila from alien invaders!

You might remember Grace blogging earlier this year about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park. Well, you can stop holding your breath now ’cause the magical amusement park is officially opening on FRIDAY, March 26 (well, March 25 if you live in the US) June 18!! Zeegaaads!!

Imagine eating at the Three Broomsticks…

…or exploring and buying all sorts of stuff from your fave Harry Potter places such as Dervish and Banges, Honeydukes, Ollivanders, and Zonko’s !

Obviously, there’s going to be rides, too, like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, the Dragon Challenge, and Flight of the Hippogriff!

I used to love reading the Ramona books when I was younger! I definitely can’t wait for the movie which comes out July this year.:)

Selena Gomez recorded the song, “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow”, for the movie. Hmm, wonder when Demi’s gonna star in her own movie and record a song for the movie soundtrack…

Maggie, Koko, and me that’s who! (Check out or offical *ahem* hero certificates signed by Ben Tennyson himself!) We went to Cartoon Network’s Hero Up Challenge event last Wednesday and got a peek at all the hero ‘toons crashing on Cartoon Network this summer!

Ok, so Lio probably already told you about Ben’s new aliens (yeah!), but here’s the most exciting part: the Hero Up Challenge will kick-off on April 12 (mark the date!). Check out the deets:

CN Hero Up Challenge
- For 6 weeks, CN will announce new villains on air.
- To join, CREATE YOUR OWN SUPERHERO to beat each villain, with his superhero name and superpowers
- You can join through SMS or through the Cartoon Network website
- If you want to win more prizes, add more stuff to your superhero entry like…comic strips, costumes, essays, etc.
- What’s up for grabs? Ben 10 quad bikes, Nintendos, and iPhones! The grand winner will even see his superhero come to life in Cartoon Network!
